The International Masters Cricket (IMC) Over 40s World Cup cricket is the unique platform that not only brings together cricket fans but also gives them the nostalgic memories of their legendary players in action in competitive cricket just like good ol’ days.
It is an international cricket tournament organized by International Masters Cricket (IMC) for veteran cricketers (including former professional stars), to compete on a global stage in the Over-40s age category. The tournament is set to take place across multiple venues in Karachi, with 12 teams participating from different parts of the world in 42 matches.
Pakistan’s fixtures against SA, HK, WI, CAN and UAE are scheduled at the venue of National Bank Stadium. The tournament starts from 21 November – 01 December 2025. The details of each tournament fixtures are as follows:

Shahid Afridi to represent Pakistan in Over-40s T20 World Cup
The Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association (PVCA) officially confirmed Shahid Afridi’s participation through a statement on Wednesday.
PVCA announced.
“The legendary all-rounder Shahid Afridi is all set to don the Pakistan jersey once again, this time for the IMC Over‑40s T20 Cricket World Cup 2025.”
A QUICK STROLL THROUGH AFRIDI’S CAREER
The former captain has represented Pakistan in over 500 matches, that includes Test matches, One Day Internationals (ODIs), and T20s. Throughout his career, he scored 11,196 runs demonstrating his strong batsmanship alongside of taking 541 wickets that proved his competence as a skilled bowler. Based on such performances, he is often dubbed as an all-rounder who is good at both batting and bowling, Pakistani cricket fans have also given him several titles other than the most popular ones of “Boom Boom” and “Lala”
Shahid Afridi will join the likes of Abdul Razzaq, captain of Pakistan Over‑40s team and Javed Miandad, serving as team mentor, forming a legendary lineup (The complete Pakistan Over‑40s squad is yet to be announced) that promises experience, skill and electrifying cricket action. His presence is expected to bring immense excitement and star value to the veterans’ event.
