The USA Cricket’s official board is currently under ICC suspension and has voluntarily entered Chapter 11 Bankruptcy (as of late 2025). The board’s own website, usacricket.org, has not updated its “Featured News” or “Media Release” sections with the 2026 World Cup squad due to this administrative dilemma. Rather, the US Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC), which is currently responsible for the national team programs, collaborated with the ICC to develop and publish the formal statement.
